I'm thinking about starting up a league. I was not fully committed before, with personal reasons, school, work etc. No need to get into that.
But now I'd like to give it another go, first I'd need to know a good portion of you would join. No point in having a sim league with out valuable/loyal/knowledgeable GMs.
Just some things I'd like to know,
Would you rather a cap or keeper league? Or something new entirely(ideas??)? Would Boxscores be necessary? Or would game scores with monthly updated full team stats suffice? Option two would allow me to sim more.
I was thinking a randomized fantasy draft. First you'd pick a team once full/near full I would post full rosters. Might leak a few names here and there, something different. Would allow teams to pick based on team names instead of talent they know they'll have. Would also generate trades, chances would be very very small a GM takes a team filled with players they like.
Just a few things I thought would be different and a little interesting.
If someone has any ideas of a different way to run a season, or even a player mode, let me know, I'd look into it.

I know I'm not currently a GM or staff member, but I have had a lot of involvement in this league since day 1. I would be interested in starting this league with you. I like the idea of a fantasy draft (random) because you start out with all sorts of different players.
Keep me posted

Alright, so a cap league isn't of high interest I see. - Guess I just like math more than most people. lol I guess it will be a non-cap league.
I think the randomized draft with mystery roster is a good/fresh idea.

I suggested a fantasy draft to Wild when we opened our league. It's a cool idea.

I like the idea of a draft. Hard to do though. You ned your teams all filled and find a good day to do it on. I also like cap leagues. But you don't get as much trading with Cap leagues becuase of the Math and the PR.. I;m in for anything.

I'd be down.
You should do that, fantasy draft, but don't leak any players.

I probably won't be able to join (at least not now), sounds cool though.

Looks like it would be a non-cap, fantasy league.
Leaks would be random while people are signing up. Also would be random, keeps slight interest while waiting for people to join.
Is there a way to have a non cap league but without keepers? Or is that too hard? I haven't seen one so I doubt it would work.

The problem wothout doing keepers is the teams would hardly ever change. Look at what has happened here even with keepers. There are probably about 50 guys that will never move. A Fantasy Draft will spread out the top players alote better though.
