- St. Louis Blues make the playoffs thanks to Jaroslav - Subban up for the Calder with Hall and Seguin - Rangers have a player & management firesale midway through the year (no reason why NOT to - they suck). - Scotty Gomez gets 70+ points, Cammalleri gets 80.
Note: The last point is a prediction that I hope comes true.
And lastly, the most important:
- The Leafs miss the playoffs again, and show off how much of a GREAT GM Burke is.

So I have to add another prediction in here
If the leafs stumble out of the gates again and are in the basement at the end of november, Wilson gets the can.
I am a die hard sens fan and I must say, Burke has made some great moves for his hockey club. If Wilson can not get them playing well it should be his ass on the line, not Burkes. Wilson is a proven underacheiving coach. Never has he brought his team the success it should have had.

IMO, his Stanley Cup win means nothing, because the team was assembled already, all he had to do was make that package for Pronger. As for in Toronto, the only good move he did was moving bad contracts and non-impact players for Giguere (who was still risky at the time of the deal), and land Phaneuf from a GM whose drug addiction overpowered his senses. He managed to throw a horrible contract @ Armstrong (who was more than happy to cash in) and acquire Versteeg from a team who dismantled half their club, which I think anybody in the same position could've done. None of this has to do with me being a Habs fan BTW, since I didn't like Burke before he was the GM in Toronto. That being said... GO HABS GO!

Price's development gets destroyed by Habs fans and becomes a backup goalie for life.
Edit: Whoops, this is Bold predictions...the above is inevitable.

Well Canucks haven't played yet I'm hoping we start off 3-0-0 instead of 0-3-0 Kesler and Burrows have a Career year in points. Sedin both have 85 + points. Oilers finish 9th or 8th in the Western Conference Eberle wins Calder Chicago Blackhawks get knocked out 1st round in the playoffs by the L.A. Kings

I never said Burke was a proven GM I just said the moves he made for the club were good ones. If you look at the cap situation and who was actually available, he improved the leafs. I did see when he himself said he has had a poor start to his tenure as the GM of the Leafs but he has only been there for a year and a half. It takes a lot longer than that to rebuild a team. Also, the deal to bring kessel in I think was a good one. Yes they gave up a lot for him but look at what he can do and for the picks, time will tell what Seguin can do and this yeas draft class looks pretty weak. I think he has done well with what he had to work with and the club is alot better off now then when he first got there. That team should be able to make the playoffs and if they dont, the coaching has to be looked at. With all of that said GO SENS GO BABY!!!! Home opener tonight WOOOO!
